EAS is governed by physics, not magic!

The larger the tag, the better the detection. The closer the antennas, the better the detection. This is reality! This is physics!

Funneling traffic single file through your EAS system is critical to security.

Airport security systems funnel people, one at a time, for screening purposes to properly protect passengers. To properly protect your merchandise, you must unobtrusively funnel traffic in the same way.

With multiple people passing through a security system and in the case of an alarm, how do you know who is the thief?

Think about it --

A thief with unpaid merchandise hiding in a crowd is invisible when the alarm goes off. You must select that thief among your valuable customers - this is an undesirable, potentially embarrasing situation to be in.

Selecting and using EAS, but applying it in the wrong way for the wrong reasons will make it ineffective and thieves know it. Don't be afraid to funnel your customers as needed for your security -- they will understand and so will the thieves.
